This living learning community is a unique initiative of Innovate ABQ, in partnership with UNM, and is the nucleus of the Innovation Corridor, Albuquerque’s long-term downtown master plan that will connect UNM to a district attracting entrepreneurs, investors and developers from around the country.

In partnership with the City of Albuquerque, the Rainforest location blends the historical past of Route 66 with the forward-thinking vibe of New Mexico’s largest business center.
Life In The Rainforest
The Rainforest is a living learning community for students with a passion for creating something new- whether it’s high tech, no tech, or a creative idea. Home of the Innovation Academy, UNM’s entrepreneurial program, this ecosystem of learning will offer the Lobo Labs Course in its first floor classroom space, internship fairs where students will make like-minded connections and social gatherings (like student pitch competition) in the Collision Space, the Rainforest’s outdoor courtyard.
